who we serve

Teaching Hospitals

In addition to treating patients, Teaching hospitals are training sites for physicians and other health care providers. Teaching hospitals are usually affiliated with medical schools, which means that patients have access to highly skilled specialists who teach medical students or residents and who are familiar with the most recent medical developments.

In fact, much of the care provided in a teaching hospital may be provided by interns and residents. Many of the advances that begin in the research laboratories of medical schools are incorporated into patient care through clinical research programs at teaching hospitals.
